ALEXIA POTATOES: SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED, NATURALLY DELICIOUS

At Alexia, sustaining the earth for generations ahead is deeply important to us. That’s why the new packaging for our Organic Sweet Potato Fries and Organic Yukon Select Puffs is made from at least 16% plant-based starches. We also offset 100% of the electricity used to produce the Alexia organic potato products with renewable energy credits.

We’re working hard to conserve energy in the production of our high-quality potato products. Currently, we’re investing in technologies like lighting and refrigeration upgrades, fryer heat recovery tools, and boiler condensing economizers, all in an effort to operate our large-scale production facilities more efficiently.*

Further, at our sweet potato production facility in Louisiana, we’ve devised an innovative closed-loop program for converting potato solids into biogas, which is, in turn, used to offset natural gas demand. As a result, we can proudly say that we’re home to the first frozen-food production facility ever to earn the esteemed Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED^®) Platinum certification.*
